Inventions

One of the inventions during the Qin Dynasty was streets. The streets they thought of are similar to the streets that we have now. City streets were usually crowded with people. The streets contained people selling goods, traveling, and buying goods. Carts and carriages could travel on streets. The streets were muddy. Many different types of people could be found on the streets.

Streets are used for travel. Streets at this time were used in other parts of the world, not only China. Streets changed peoples lives in China because instead of having people walk on the bare ground and not having a main pathway to get to places now they were able to get from point A to point B without needing to go out of their way. The roads were also used to send armies to various locations to protect China. Some streets that were made in the Qin Dynasty still stand today. You can find some of these roads in Dengjiatang Village, in Chenzhou City, in the providence.

Streets today are used just like streets during the Qin Dynasty. They are used for travel. Houses are lined up along streets, people can walk, ride a bike, take a bus, or drive on roads. Roads have many different things they can be used for. Roads today are built out of concrete and have lines painted on them for drivers.
